Key Responsibilities
- Lead and architect data engineering solutions using Python and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, dataflows, and ETL processes.
- Build and manage serverless data warehousing solutions leveraging BigQuery.
- Work with structured and unstructured data sources using cloud analytics tools (Cloudera, Hadoop, etc.).
- Implement data mapping, modeling, and transformation frameworks.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance on data analytics tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong Python development experience (mandatory).
- Architect-level expertise in designing and implementing Google Cloud Platform solutions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cloud Run & Pub/Sub
- BigQuery (mandatory)
- DataProc & DataFlows
- Serverless data warehousing concepts on Google Cloud Platform
- Deep knowledge of SQL across multiple databases.
- Familiarity with DWBI modeling frameworks.
- Experience with data mapping and data modeling.
- Exposure to structured and unstructured data processing.
- Familiarity with Cloudera, Hadoop, or equivalent cloud analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Spanner and API development.
- Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools.
- Leadership or managerial exposure in data engineering projects.
