Job Title: Senior CMM Programmer

Pay Rate: $45.00-52.00/hour

Location: Hanover, PA 17331

Area Code: 717

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Employment Type: Contract / W2 or 1099

Job Overview:

Belcan is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support a major industry supplier of ring and seal products through CMM programming expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Create CMM programs to client CAD / 3D models for use on a required gauging system
• Assist with correlation activities - compare results of independent inspection methods to one another relative to quality objectives
• Validate repeatability and reproducibility of program routines (gage R&R) per associated quality standard(s)
• Check / troubleshoot Production Department"s CMM programs as needed (peer review, etc.)
• Configure CMM report outputs / CSV file to integrate with necessary client software
• Conduct prove-out and validation of move points, etc.
• Identify process improvement initiatives and support root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
  
  

Core Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in CMM programming and operation
• Proficient programming within industry-standard CMM platforms
• Technically minded with understanding of complex component inspection best practices
• GD&T knowledge - complex datum structures, polar coordinates, CMM programming best practices for iterative alignments, etc.
• Gage R&R process experience
• Lean / Process Improvement / Poka-Yoke mentality in support of shop floor personnel and operators
• Due to potential nature of the work, ship is required.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso and/or potentially other
• Prior experience supporting aerospace product
