*** Only qualified Senior Cloud Network Engineer candidates currently located in the Raleigh, NC area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite Presence***
Required Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM Series firewall and Panorama configuration and optimization (5 Years)
Experience with routers, routing protocols, transit gateways, load balancing, and overall cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routes, and security (3 Years)
Experience with security best practices and implementing security controls in an AWS cloud environment (5 Years)
Experience with VPN technologies, including IPsec and SSL (5 Years)
Ability to work on large TCP/IP networks, design, implementation, and troubleshooting (3 Years)
Experience with name services and resolution, associated IP assignments
Knowledge of core network services (including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies)
Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud networking infrastructure issues
Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented and collaborative attitude
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure components: compute, storage, network management, and monitoring (network and security)

Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues related to networking and security
Create firewall rules for environments
Assist the Operations and cloud team as requested
Maintain and keep track of all technical duties related to cloud networking, such as design, implementation, and support
Manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance issues: utilization/throughput, slowness, and unexpected latency
