Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Engineer to support SAP AFS operations, interfaces, and batch processing across wholesale and supply chain environments. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, operational stability, issue prevention, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor SAP AFS systems, interfaces, middleware, and batch jobs
Troubleshoot interface failures, IDocs, RFCs, and scheduling issues
Support incident management, root cause analysis, and issue escalation
Validate fixes and changes in non-production environments
Maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational procedures
Drive continuous improvements in monitoring and system stability
Collaborate with support, service management, and data integration teams
Required Skills:
Experience with SAP AFS or SAP ECC
Strong knowledge of SD/MM modules and wholesale/supply chain processes
Hands-on experience with IDocs, RFCs, and SAP integrations
Experience with TIBCO, SAP XI/PI, or middleware tools
Experience with Automic or job scheduling tools
Strong L2 production support experience
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred Knowledge:
Order-to-Cash (O2C), inventory, and billing processes
System monitoring and operational support best practices
Work Style:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
