- Experience in SAP
- Someone who has had customer interaction or customer facing experience is a plus
- Experienced quality engineer in technical manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the listed duties and responsibilities and to mentor others in the same.
- Experience managing business-to-business customer relationships.
- Bachelor of science in math, engineering, physical science, or a minimum of 7 years experience as a QE
- Qualified lead auditor ISO 9001.
- Strong background in statistics and SPC.
- Knowledge of materials science & surface characterization.
- Data mining via SQL query and Power BI.

- Lead others in developing a culture of collaboration, compliance, and respect.
- Collaborate within and across departments to improve the integrated management system (IMS).
- Demonstrate leadership and judgement in the development of quality planning for products and manufacturing processes, including in new product introduction (NPI).
- Lead cross functional teams in the development of systems and solutions to improve internal quality.
- Lead the development of failure modes and effects analyses, and the design of improvements to address high risk priority numbers.
- Perform measurement systems analyses and use the results to design improvements.
- Lead root cause analysis of quality problems in manufacturing.
- Manage the customer complaint process, prepare corrective actions, drive successful implementation, and update the customer on progress and outcomes.
- Drive projects to improve supplier quality.
- Serve as lead auditor for compliance with ISO 9001, both internally and onsite at our suppliers.
