Role: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid
W2 Contract
Interview Mode : In-person Interview Mandatory
Responsibilities
Based on project requirements and technical design, develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications
Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality input early in the process
Plan test schedules & strategies in accordance with project scope & delivery dates
Schedule and review test plan review with project manager, business analyst, and UAT Lead
Document test cases, results and defects utilizing OpenText (formerly HP) Quality Center/ALM
Create and manage test data, including data for use by automated scripts where applicable
Document and communicate project quality over the course of testing, including readiness for release using our standard test process and status reporting template
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase through test information sharing and test data creation for UAT team members using our automated processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations or standards
Desired Skills
3-10 years testing and/or Property & Casualty Insurance experience
Experience with Quality Center/ALM for requirements, test case and defect management
Data testing experience. Includes writing SQL and working with XML files
Exposure to Property & Casualty Insurance a plus
Excellent skills as a communicator and facilitator, both written and oral
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish a common goal
Self-starter, with strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills
A process improvement mind-set
