Title: IT Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Overview:

Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Medicaid Systems Development (MSD) team— critical systems that provide healthcare access to Massachusetts residents. The primary focus will be on the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) application, with additional support across other MSD initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute end-to-end testing for EVV and related applications.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, security, and UAT testing.
• Participate in defect triage, JAD sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
• Conduct backend testing and write complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Prepare test metrics and summary reports, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Collaborate with QA, BA, and development teams to ensure quality standards and timely delivery.

Required Skills:

• 5 years’ experience in QA/testing (black-box, white-box, functional, and regression).
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
• Experience with tools like Jira, IBM Test Manager, HP ALM/Quality Center, LoadRunner, QTP, or UFT.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in healthcare or government projects preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
