Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Tester / Software Test Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in testing IT products and applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing, strong knowledge of modern testing tools, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of IT applications, including both COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) products and custom-built solutions
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, test plans, and test procedures
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and performance
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and validated
• Execute API, performance, and integration testing as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and methodologies
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in software testing / QA engineering
• Strong experience testing both COTS and in-house developed applications
• Proven experience in:
• Creating and executing test cases, scripts, and test plans
• Defect logging and tracking with minimal supervision
• Hands-on experience with automation and testing tools:
• Playwright
• Gherkin (BDD frameworks)
• JMeter (performance testing)
• Postman (API testing)
• Azure DevOps
• Git
• Working knowledge of test methodologies and QA best practices
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge in C# and scripting languages
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing cloud-based applications hosted on:
• Microsoft Azure
• AWS
• Salesforce
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
