We are seeking a detail-oriented Playwright QA Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of web applications by collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end tests
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
- Validate UI, API, and data consistency
- Review test results and provide detailed reports
- Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and best QA practices
- Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Experience with end-to-end and UI automation testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
