Senior Data Engineer – Databricks & GenAI W2 Only

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Databricks & GenAI

Location: Warren, MI or Austin, TX

Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days per week

Experience: 5 years

Duration: Contract-to-hire (conversion to full-time after approximately 6 months)

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders preferred, all valid work authorizations may apply

Education- Required a Bachelor degree and equivalent

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL. The candidate will build and maintain data pipelines and prepare data for AI and Generative AI applications.

Required Skills

• 5 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data quality, testing, and Git.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GenAI, RAG, embeddings, or vector search.
• Knowledge of Azure services such as ADLS Gen2 and Key Vault.
• Experience with real-time data processing or streaming.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience is a plus.
  
  

Important Requirements

• Must work onsite 4 days per week in Warren, MI or Austin, TX.
• Must be open to full-time conversion after approximately 6 months.
