Overview: We're seeking a QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright, TypeScript, and manual testing. This is a hybrid QA role supporting telemetry-focused applications across telecom, cable, and mobile platforms. You'll be responsible for validating mission-critical enterprise systems and automating test scenarios for features you test manually.

Overview: We're seeking a QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright, TypeScript, and manual testing. This is a hybrid QA role supporting telemetry-focused applications across telecom, cable, and mobile platforms. You'll be responsible for validating mission-critical enterprise systems and automating test scenarios for features you test manually.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Review JIRA stories and execute manual test cases
- Approve pull requests (PRs) for developer deployment
- Post-validation, automate the tested feature using Playwright
- Add automation scripts to the shared automation repository
- Ensure all user stories are tested and properly automated in the sprint
- Troubleshoot existing automation if issues arise
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery
- Note: If placed on Lighthouse Mobile, the resource may focus more on manual testing of Android apps, as automation is currently not available.
- Manual Testing: Strong experience in functional, UI, and regression testing
- Automation: Experience in Playwright with TypeScript / JavaScript
- Ability to write automation tests for features manually validated
- Version Control / CI Tools: Basic understanding of Git and automation workflows
- Ability to work in agile environments, reviewing stories and coordinating closely with developers
- Experience testing Android/mobile applications
- Familiarity with telecom/cable networks, routing/switching concepts
- Exposure to banking, finance, or healthcare domains
