Summary / Objective

We're seeking a detail oriented QA Analyst to join our team in Omaha, NE. In this role, you'll evaluate software and firmware to ensure functionality aligns with specifications and standards. You'll run tests on new or modified programs, document results, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to deliver high quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with our products, processes, tools, and technology.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and issues in software/firmware.
• Participate in design reviews, recommend improvements, and approve design specifications.
• Create test cases and data prior to development.
• Document, track, and communicate test plans and results.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Assist with integration testing across software and hardware/firmware.
• Contribute to establishing QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Continuously grow skills in languages, design methodologies, and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS preferred.
• Experience: 3 years in a quality assurance environment.
  
  

Competencies

• Experience executing test cases, recording results, and analyzing requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative, trusting relationships.
