Job Description
We are seeking a QA Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, test planning, and quality metrics and a proven ability to drive test execution, triage defects, and support release readiness for small to medium-sized initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features.
- Reproduce, document, and triage bugs and partner with engineering to drive resolution.
- Write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Support QA leads in test strategy and test plan creation.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress.
- Conduct Product Audits with QA lead guidance to analyze and improve QA test coverage.
- Conduct Bug Audits with QA lead guidance to analyze and identify product areas for improvement.
- Provide release readiness support for medium and small features.
- Lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features.
- Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads.
- Work onsite as needed to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams.
- Support stealth projects that require diligence in execution.
- Support safety and model testing, including scenarios that may expose testers to unsafe content.
- Run and lead innovative testing techniques such as benchmarking and battery testing.
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience creating quality dashboards and instrumentation.
- Background with safety or model testing workflows.
