Python Developer With Capital Markets

Introduction:

Candidate will be responsible for analysis and development of applications on a trading platform to support various regulatory requirements. This role will involve working with multiple teams to build out the target FAS133 hedging platform and LIBOR front to back transition project. The Python Developer will partner with key stakeholders to ensure proper design and architectural patterns are deployed for high-availability, failover, and scaling.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications on a trading platform to meet regulatory requirements
• Work with multiple teams to build out FAS133 hedging platform and LIBOR front to back transition project
• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure proper design and architectural patterns are deployed
• Demonstrate best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Utilize advanced knowledge of Python for application development
• Design and develop modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices
• Experience with Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of various financial instruments including Interest rate swaps, FX swaps, and bonds

Required Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Experience with design and architectural patterns
• Experience in API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices
• Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of various financial instruments including Interest rate swaps, FX swaps, and bonds
• Experience in Capital Markets
• Experience with Fix trading
• Creative problem-solving skills
