Project Manager/Scrum Master

Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $43.00 USD Hourly

Description:

Role: Project Manager/scrum Master

Location: Lincoln, NE (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and 5 years of professional project management experience.
• At least 2 years managing software development projects using Agile SDLC.
• Minimum 5 years of overall project management experience.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

Project Management & Leadership

• Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and guide teams without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of formal project management frameworks such as PMI methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead project teams of varying sizes through full project lifecycle.
• Capable of managing stakeholder expectations, risks, constraints, and scope changes.
• Experience overseeing project execution, monitoring performance, and resolving project slippage or blockers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  

Documentation & Analysis

• Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, process models, state transition models, and business cases.
• Ability to perform gap analyses and evaluate vendor solutions.
• Skilled in conducting stakeholder meetings and capturing detailed business requirements.
• Ability to perform or lead QA/QC activities, document process flows, and support design and development activities.
  
  

Execution & Delivery

• Skilled in developing project scopes, schedules, risk assessments, and resource estimates.
• Experience creating and managing communication plans, change control processes, quality control strategies, and activity coordination.
• Capable of managing full project lifecycle activities including:
• Project charters and approval processes
• Status reporting and documentation
• Project closeout, lessons learned, and customer feedback
  

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in Azure DevOps to create backlogs, user stories, and task management.
• Ability to analyze process flows of existing systems and applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
