We are currently seeking a Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer for our client in the Financial Services domain. Duration: Long-term Contract

Location: Westlake, TX/Jersey City, NJ/Boston, MA

Salary: $120,000-$125,000/Annually or $62.00-$65.00/Hourly

Role Description: The Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer must have 8 years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer with highly sensitive, large, data sets
• Strong RDBMS skills ? SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a team-based environment
• Good experience with performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.
• Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader, etc.
• Has experience in Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands.
• Experience working with team in Agile methodology
• Experience with database modeling
• Knowledge of Core Java, Python, scheduling tool like Control-M is nice to have.
• AWS Cloud experience is a plus
• Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in Financial Industry preferably in Capital Markets/ Securities Finance.
• 5 years working in financial industry is a plus.
• Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
• Motivated and able to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Good communication skills to both technology folks and business partners.
• Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy.
