We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient care as part of a collaborative community health team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct outpatient primary care to patients across diverse backgrounds
- Administer or prescribe treatments, medications, immunizations and preventive care plans
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patient symptoms, medical history and overall health status
- Order and review tests, diagnostic imaging and clinical findings to guide treatment plans
- Provide oversight and supervision to advanced practice providers, residents and students as needed
- Work closely with nurses, medical assistants, scribes and care team members to support patient outcomes
- Document patient visits, diagnoses, treatment plans and follow-up care accurately and timely
- Medical Degree required
- Board certified in a primary care field
- California medical license required
- Current California Drug Enforcement Administration licensure required
- Current Basic Life Support certification required through an American Heart Association approved source
- Bilingual English and Spanish or English and Arabic strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds
