• Experience in system analysis/design, development, unit testing, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications.
• Proficient in developing business-critical applications in client/server and Unix/Windows environments using PowerBuilder 10.5/11.5/12.5, PFC, ASP, , , Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, Oracle, Sybase EAS, MS SQL Server, MS Access, Perl, and Unix shell scripting.
• Strong expertise in PowerBuilder development, including use of NVOs (Non-Visual Objects) for encapsulating business logic, promoting modular, reusable, and maintainable code using core OOP principles.
• Skilled in data window programming, integrating third-party tools and OLE objects into PowerBuilder applications, and managing database connectivity via PowerBuilder configuration files.
• Applied Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles to develop and enhance scalable business applications using PowerBuilder (v10–2017).
• Designed and implemented object-oriented models, including class hierarchies and reusable components, to support enterprise application architecture.
• Solid background in enterprise application development across domains such as child welfare, finance, insurance, and other industries using technologies like Salesforce, PowerBuilder, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Java.
• Proficient in designing and maintaining relational data models; experienced in creating tables, indexes, constraints, and relationships to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL scripts for CRUD operations, developing complex stored procedures, views, joins, unions, and other advanced SQL queries.
• Extensive experience in developing and consuming XML Web Services, WCF, REST APIs, and Web APIs.
• Experience integrating third party tools and OLE objects, Mainframe Emulator into PowerBuilder applications.
• Skilled in source control and version management using tools such as Git, TFS, VSS, Serena Dimensions, and IBM Rational ClearCase.
• Hands-on experience with Git branching strategies and CI/CD pipeline implementations using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
• Experience in test planning and execution, including unit testing, system testing, and load testing. Familiar with writing test cases and test scripts.
• Automated project requests using Perl and Unix Shell scripts.
• Experience in data migration from ACT, Excel, Outlook, and legacy systems using Data Loader, Import Wizard, Informatica Data Loader, and IBM Cast Iron.
• Expert in data migration into Salesforce using Data Loader.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.
