Role: Playwright Automation Lead / Sr. Lead
Location: Dublin, CA

- Automation Framework Design
- Design and implement a scalable automation framework using Playwright.
- Follow best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), reusable utilities, and modular architecture.
- Test Automation Development
- Develop, maintain, and optimize UI and API automation scripts.
- Ensure strong test coverage across regression, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios.
- CI/CD Pipeline Integration
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Enable parallel execution to achieve faster feedback cycles.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and mentor automation engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and framework guidelines.
- Test Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with QA, developers, and product owners to define automation strategy and scope.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation during sprint planning.
- Execution Monitoring & Defect Management
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and log defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Ensure stability and reliability of automation suites.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track KPIs such as test coverage, execution time, and flakiness rate.
- Continuously improve framework performance, stability, and scalability.
