- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise platforms across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of platform systems.
- Lead platform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management with minimal service disruption.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity; proactively resolve risks and bottlenecks.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Design and implement automation using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Optimize platform cost, performance, and scalability through continuous improvement.
- Standardize configurations, templates, and operational procedures.
- Enforce security best practices, access controls, and configuration standards.
- Partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and support audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) providing technical guidance and leadership.
- Mentor junior administrators and engineers.
- Lead root cause analysis for complex incidents and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with application teams, DevOps, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in platform architecture design and roadmap planning.
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalations and critical incidents.
- Participate in on-call support, including weekends and after-hours as required.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, middleware, SaaS platforms, or operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Java, Python, or Gosu.
- Experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite (v9.0 or above), including PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
- Knowledge of database systems and ETL processes, preferably Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, SQS, and APIs (SOAP, REST).
- Strong understanding of platform operations, performance tuning, and system reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in enterprise platform environments within regulated industries.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation frameworks.
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks and audits.
