What You’ll Do
- Architect a multi-year capital investment strategy (1–5 year horizon) by synthesizing input from cross-functional pillars including Safety, Quality, Finance, and Operations.
- Champion the execution of high-impact capital initiatives focused on optimizing ammonia refrigeration, industrial wastewater management, and critical utility infrastructure.
- Drive technical excellence in automation and production design, proactively identifying opportunities to modernize system architectures and increase throughput.
- Synthesize engineering resources to provide elite-level project support at both the local facility and broader divisional levels.
- Direct the Utilities department, ensuring peak operational performance and rigorous regulatory compliance for steam, nitrogen, natural gas, compressed air, and refrigeration systems.
- Cultivate high-performance cross-functional teams to elevate site standards in labor relations, sanitation protocols, and total cost of ownership.
- Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Industry Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within a strictly regulated manufacturing environment (Food, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical sectors).
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery in managing complex capital projects, with a specific focus on utility infrastructure, wastewater processing, or ammonia-based systems.
- Strategic Mindset: The ability to move beyond tactical fixes to deliver long-term, proactive engineering solutions.
- Relocation Readiness: Flexibility to be based in the Greater Coldwater, MI area (comprehensive relocation assistance is provided).
