PeopleSoft Database Analyst IV (Onsite)
Primary Location: Madison, Wisconsin
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a PeopleSoft Database Analyst IV for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.
Education And Experience »
- Must be experienced in Oracle Database Administration, Architecture, and Configuration with hands on experience in migrating databases to Exadata and cloud platforms using multiple methods and technologies.
- Experience with Oracle releases 19.x and 26.x, RMAN, Data Guard, scripting and automation is required.
- Familiarity with the full license feature set such as multitenancy, advanced compression, partitioning, cloud management pack is preferred.
- Hands on experience with Exadata Critical Patch updates preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in depth technical and functional knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning
- Minimum 2 years experience using multiple methods and technologies with RMAN, and Data Guard required.
- Minimum 3 years experience performing detailed, highly technical root cause analysis of Oracle database systems.
- Minimum 2 years experience with ability to create scripts to automate processes in the Oracle database environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings; writes clearly and informatively; varies writing styles to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively.
- Experience in Higher Education - Highly complex environment, with diverse stakeholders.
