Pay range: $82.40 - $92.40 per hour
This position is for a Pega Systems Developer responsible for developing user interfaces, creating business-specific workflows, and producing Pega applications to enhance user experience. The role involves working within an Agile (SAFe) team to analyze, design, code, and test application systems, currently using Pega Version 8.4 with a planned migration to 8.8.2. The team focuses on simplifying and streamlining a core clinical prior authorization application to make it cloud-ready.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Project Managers to establish specifications and estimations on complex initiatives
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, system design, program functions, and steps required to modify computer systems
- Manage application deployment, including driver and Intent Task configuration and External Integration
- Work with stakeholders to develop and implement acceptance test plans
- Other duties as assigned
- 4 Year Degree
- Pega CSA Certification
- Demonstrated understanding of workflow and the solutioning side of application development, including upstream and downstream impacts
- Understanding that Pega is a configurable tool
- Knowledge of Java and SQL
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and independently
- Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
- Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software solutions
- Ability to develop unbiased options and recommendations for technical problems
- Strong traits of decisiveness and judgment
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of security implications of the domain
