Job Title: PC / Laptop Imaging & Deployment Technician

Primary Skills: hardware refresh, lg-scale PC deployment, Windows 10/11 system install, configuration,

troubleshoot, Dell.

Location: Annapolis, MD (Candidate must be able to work fully onsite in Annapolis. Local candidates to the Annapolis, MD region required.)

Work address: 1 Harry Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401 (Annapolis is MD state capital).

Start details: Two weeks after hiring.

Duration: 6-months (may be extended.)

Work Arrangement: Work is onsite only.

Required Skills

• Overall IT experience: Required. 3 yrs.
• Education: College degree. Highly desired. (Any education, degrees, and certifications must include the date they were acquired.)
• Certifications: CompTIA A certification or equivalent technical certification. Desired.
• Drivers License. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for county vehicle operation). Required.
• Physical ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work in varied office environments. Required.
• Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor. Required.
• Prior experience supporting hardware refresh or large-scale PC deployment projects. Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience deploying and configuring Dell laptops and desktop/all-in-one hardware. Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Required. 3 yrs.
• Hands-on experience with PC/laptop imaging using tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), SCCM/MECM, or similar imaging solutions. Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience with basic network connectivity setup (domain joining, VPN, network drives, printers). Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience installing and configuring software packages and applications in a Windows environment. Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience with hardware swap procedures: disconnecting peripherals, replacing units, and reconnecting in an office setting. Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues (boot issues, peripheral connectivity, driver problems, etc.). Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience working w/end users in a customer-service oriented deployment environment, communicating technical concepts to non- technical end users. Required. 3 yrs.
• Strong documentation skills for asset tracking and project recordkeeping. Required. 3 yrs.
• Experience with Dell-specific tools such as Dell Command | Deploy or Dell BIOS configuration utilities. Highly desired. 3 yrs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Office suite setup and activation in enterprise environments. Highly desired.
• Experience working in a government, public sector, or enterprise IT environment. Desired.
• Experience with Active Directory for user account and machine management. Desired.
• Experience with asset management or ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy). Desired.
• Knowledge of BitLocker or other disk encryption solutions used in enterprise deployments. Desired.
