What You Ll Do
- Serve as the organization s subject matter expert on Palo Alto NGFW (PAN-OS) technologies, leveraging advanced features such as Application Identification (App-ID) and User Identification (User-ID)
- Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls in an enterprise environment where stability is paramount
- Architect, implement, and maintain Prisma Access SASE cloud security services to support a secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructure
- Manage and support the firm s Prisma Access tenant, including advanced configurations and ongoing operational reliability
- Ensure network security solutions integrate seamlessly across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Collaborate with technology and security teams to align network protections with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
- Leverage strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex networking and firewall issues
- Operate effectively within a fast-paced financial services environment, where precision, reliability, and uptime are critical
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
- 5 7 years of hands-on network security experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Proven expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies, including Next-Generation Firewalls (PAN OS), App ID, User ID, and high availability firewall architectures
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions on platforms such as Prisma Access, Zscaler, and Netskope
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-availability firewall environments supporting financial institutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues under time constraints
- Highly preferred certifications:
- PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
- PCSAE (Palo Alto Certified Security Automation Engineer)
- CISSP, CCNP, Security
- In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust and micro-segmentation concepts, techniques and technical solutions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
