Oracle Database Administrator (W2 only)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (locals preferred)

Hybrid position

Introduction:

As an Oracle Database Administrator on our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing database technology infrastructure solutions with minimal direction. Your expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle GoldenGate, and cloud computing will be crucial in maintaining and optimizing our database systems.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL language to optimize database performance and efficiency.
• Analyze and implement database technology infrastructure solutions with minimal direction.
• Resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Utilize expertise with Oracle GoldenGate for database replication and data movement strategies.
• Provide 24/7 production enterprise support for database systems.
• Work with public cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure, to maintain and optimize database systems.
  
  

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL language.
• Proven experience analyzing and implementing database technology infrastructure solutions with minimal direction.
• Technical curiosity to fix and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Expertise with Oracle GoldenGate, database replication and data movement strategies & tools.
• Experience with 24/7 Production Enterprise support.
• Familiarity with Public Cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting languages and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Basic proficiency of programming languages (Python) is preferred.
