Position Summary
Seeking an Expert Oracle Database Administrator with extensive experience managing enterprise Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, security, backup/recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational support.
Mandatory Qualification
- 84 months of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Extensive experience in database administration, capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to large teams.
Oracle Certifications
- Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional OR Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 12c or higher.
- Oracle AI Database Administration Certified Professional does not qualify.
- 84 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Database 12c or higher.
- Experience administering Multitenant RAC databases configured with Oracle Data Guard.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux/AIX environments.
- 84 months of experience troubleshooting Oracle 12c database and server issues including crashes, failed disks, and production incidents.
- Experience working directly with Oracle Support Services.
- 36 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Database Appliance.
- Experience with High Availability (HA) models using Oracle RAC 12c or higher.
- 84 months of experience diagnosing and resolving Oracle database performance issues.
- Experience collaborating with storage, network, application, and infrastructure teams to determine root causes.
- 84 months of experience using Oracle Data Pump Export/Import.
- Extensive experience using RMAN for backup, recovery, and database restoration.
- 84 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c or higher.
- Experience utilizing OEM advanced features including Metric Extensions, Monitoring Templates, and proactive monitoring.
- 36 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle APEX on Oracle 12c databases.
- 84 months of experience documenting database processes, procedures, and system architecture diagrams.
- 36 months of experience maintaining server hardware, including racking, stacking, cabling, and component replacement.
