We are seeking an experienced onsite New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager to support manufacturing activities. This role will provide dedicated, onsite program management across engineering, operations, and suppliers, while serving as the primary interface with the UK program team. The position will help close the current gap in onsite project management by overseeing schedule, risk, and cost to ensure successful NPI execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead onsite program management for all NPI manufacturing activities, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and supplier teams.
- Serve as the primary U.S. interface with the UK program team to drive communication, coordination, and issue resolution.
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed program schedules, identifying risks, dependencies, and critical path activities.
- Monitor and manage program risks and issues, driving mitigation plans to maintain delivery commitments.
- Track program costs, support budget adherence, and ensure financial transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide onsite leadership and support to close existing gaps in project execution, ensuring timely and successful NPI delivery.
- Bachelor"s degree in Program Management, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
- 5 years of program or project management experience supporting NPI or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex program schedules, including risk identification and critical path analysis.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience interfacing across global teams and suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets, track costs, and ensure financial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leadership experience in fast paced, onsite environments, with a track record of driving issues to closure and improving project execution.
- Due to the nature of the work ship is requied
- Master's or advanced degree
- Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or highly regulated manufacturing.
- Experience supporting assembly line operations or shop floor engineering.
