- Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
- Pay: $34/hour optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Provide onsite system and production support for a client in State College, PA, focusing on office network reliability, workstation management, Google Workspace administration, and security/compliance. This role supports an entire office environment in a fast-paced setting, requiring strong prioritization, communication, and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide system/production support and monitoring for applications and operational cycles (batch/online), including issue triage and resolution support.
- Install, configure, administer, implement, schedule, and tune/modify applications; support simple to moderate performance concerns.
- Monitor scheduled processing/batch execution; report on success/failure; take corrective actions where possible and escalate as needed.
- Perform or coordinate backups when required.
- Execute testing activities as needed; review abnormal results from prior cycles and confirm issues are logged and resolved.
- Participate in implementation walkthroughs and work sessions for releases, data conversions, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Maintain office IT operations: Wired and wireless network uptime and performance, network security, virus prevention, and mitigation.
- Workstation management, imaging, and onsite troubleshooting/support.
- Administration of Google services (email, Voice, Google Workspace/GSuite).
