Responsibilities:
- Gather and document network security requirements
- Assist in implementing Microsegmentation solutions using Akamai's Guardicore Micro-segmentation zero trust
- Resolve technical issues on Guardicore micro-segmentation, Zero Trust product, analyze security policies, and access controls
- Assist in implementing network security solutions, including firewalls
- Configure, and optimize firewall policies and rules
- Configure dynamic routing protocols including RIP, OSPF, and BGP
- Ensure compliance with security standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network security issues
- 5 years of experience in network security engineering
- Hands-on experience configuring firewalls such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, and Fortinet
- Experience with dynamic routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP)
- Familiarity with network segmentation and microsegmentation concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, tools, and best practices
- Proficient with monitoring, troubleshooting, and responding to network security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation actions.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
