TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Arlington, VA to hire an experienced Network Engineer to support the deployment and automation of a large-scale, highly complex network environment. The role involves designing scalable network solutions, optimizing IP protocols, and troubleshooting advanced networking issues across diverse platforms. Candidates will work with major routing technologies-including BGP, OSPF, and Cisco 37xx/49xx/65xx/73xx/76xx series-while ensuring high availability and performance. This position requires deep expertise in network analysis, IP fundamentals, and a wide range of transport and security technologies such as DWDM, SONET, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, HSRP/GLBP, IPSEC, and VPNs. Success in this fast-paced environment depends on strong communication skills, autonomy, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that support rapid infrastructure scaling.
