Lead enterprise data platform modernization from SQL Server/SSIS/ADF to a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, establishing a secure, scalable, and governed medallion architecture while enabling self-service analytics across business domains.

Lead enterprise data platform modernization from SQL Server/SSIS/ADF to a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, establishing a secure, scalable, and governed medallion architecture while enabling self-service analytics across business domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement Fabric Lakehouse (Bronze–Silver–Gold) architecture.
- Modernize legacy stack: SQL Server (AWS EC2), SSIS, ADF, SSRS/Crystal Reports.
- Solve data extraction bottlenecks from SQL Server environments.
- Establish domain-driven data ownership: Ingestion → Bronze/Silver, LOB → Gold (star schemas).
- Implement secure data sharing, workspace isolation, and sensitive data controls.
- Drive governance via Purview (definitions, lineage, standards).
- Standardize data models, naming, pipelines, and reusable patterns.
- Enable self-service analytics (Power BI) and support Data Science workloads.
- Lead team upskilling and Fabric adoption across personas (BA, DE, DS).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Platform
- Experience with Lakehouse, Delta, Medallion architecture
- Hands-on with ADF, SSIS modernization, SQL Server
- Solid data modeling (dimensional curated layers)
- Experience in data governance, security, and access control (Purview preferred)
