Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end Microsoft Fabric solutions (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake).
- Design and implement Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture.
- Lead Fabric environment setup, governance, and security configuration.
- Define capacity planning, licensing strategy, and cost optimization.
- Establish performance tuning standards for SQL, pipelines, and semantic models.
- Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Data Engineering pipelines.
- Mentor developers and provide architecture oversight.
- 10 years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
- Extremely strong SQL and query optimization skills.
- Deep expertise in:
- Data Warehousing & Dimensional Modeling
- Medallion Architecture
- ETL/ELT frameworks
- Azure Data Factory
- Experience designing scalable Lakehouse architectures.
- Strong understanding of governance, security, and performance optimization.
