- Design and develop Infant Care products, as part of a larger HW team.
- Conceptualize and create mechanical designs, mechanical components, and subsystems using Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Create & review engineering drawings, understand GD&T principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection & selection of manufacturing processes.
- Hands on 3D CAD modeling tools for design and development of mechanical components and sub systems.
- Perform necessary mechanical calculations to meet the needs of modelling, part analysis, design FMEAs, etc.
- Develop test plans and reports and perform testing and verification of designs.
- Knowledge of industrial grade plastics/polymers and their design & manufacturing principles.
- Work with suppliers to ensure test samples are consistent with the goals of larger programs, projects or initiatives.
- Appetite for creativity and problem solving.
