Skills - Sr. Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Consultant III with Version 9.1 and Senior Systems Engineer
We are requesting a short-term engagement with a qualified Maximo Application Suite (MAS) consultant to support our current implementation. The consultant should align with the skill level of a Technical Consultant III and Senior Systems Engineer and possess strong front-end and back-end expertise with Maximo Application Suite version 9.1, as we have recently launched MAS 9.1.8.
We have a little over 25 items in our backlog. The attached backlog document outlines these items and will serve as the baseline for scoping, effort estimation, and sequencing of work for this engagement.
Our internal system administrator has expertise in workflow maintenance, communication templates, Start Centers/Portlets, Application Designer, queries, BIRT reporting, security groups, and overall data analysis. Additional expertise is needed in advanced mobile application development (leveraging the latest MAS 9.1 capabilities), Email Listener configuration, and the new administrator/super-user security group models introduced with MAS.
From a workflow perspective, while we can modify existing workflows, we need guidance on higher-level redesign specifically: restructuring the work order workflow; developing site-specific workflows (PPO, VMS, MTS); converting status-based workflows to role-based workflows (e.g., mechanic vs. foreman); leveraging workflow assignments and Inbox portlets; and using subprocess nodes effectively.
A key expectation of this engagement is knowledge transfer. The consultant will work closely with internal staff to ensure clear understanding of the configuration, design decisions, and implementation approaches. This collaboration will enable our team to independently support and extend the solution going forward.
We also need assistance estimating the effort and duration for each requirement, validating our approach, and supporting implementation where deeper MAS 9.1 expertise is required. Time will be needed to review completed work in the MAS DEV environment with our internal stakeholders.
