Job Details
As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in keeping our production operations running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors, and pumps.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
- Repairing or replacing faulty mechanical components as needed.
- Assisting in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Documenting all performed maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and analysis.
- Collaborating with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and minimize downtime.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Technician, or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
- Solid background in automotive or diesel mechanics.
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial mechanics is a plus.
