Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
- The Mainframe Testing Support Analyst will provide end-to-end testing support for backend mainframe systems, ensuring stability, reliability, and seamless integration across environments.
- The role involves monitoring batch processing, supporting file transmissions, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain testing environments and meet client SLAs.
- Strong experience with mainframe batch and online systems.
- Experience with CICS, DB2 processing, and batch job workflows.
- Experience troubleshooting batch job failures and performing root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of JCL debugging and job scheduling tools such as CA-7.
- Ability to monitor and manage file transmissions, including replay and retransmission.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience supporting end-to-end testing environments in mainframe systems.
- Experience working with QA, development, and infrastructure teams.
- Experience in production support or client-facing environments preferred.
- Experience managing SLAs and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Provide end-to-end testing support for backend mainframe systems.
- Monitor batch processing flows to ensure timely execution and identify issues.
- Troubleshoot batch job failures and perform root cause analysis.
- Support file transmissions, including replaying and retransmitting files as needed.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and infrastructure teams to maintain stable environments.
- Serve as an escalation point for client-related issues in testing environments.
- Initiate bridge calls to coordinate resolution across multiple teams.
- Monitor SLAs and ensure compliance with client service requirements.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Maintain and update operational procedures and documentation.
- Support incident management processes and escalate critical issues when needed.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
- Experience with CA-7 job scheduling.
- Knowledge of JCL debugging and CICS transaction monitoring.
- Experience in managing complex end-to-end environments.
- Experience with incident management and escalation processes.
- Mainframe systems support and testing.
- Batch processing and job scheduling.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- File transmission and data integrity management.
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in mainframe support or testing roles may be considered.
