A Mainframe Developer with good COBOL and JCL, DB2, and CICS skills is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining mainframe applications that support critical business processes in a Wealth Management domain.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate''s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life, and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.

- 5 yrs Writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs using established coding standards and best practices
- 5 yrs Developing and maintaining JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling5 yrs Designing, developing, and maintaining DB2 databases to support application data needs
- 5 yrs Writing and maintaining CICS transaction programs to provide online access to mainframe applications
- Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest process improvements or new solutions.
- Overall, a mainframe developer with these skills plays a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance and reliability of mainframe applications that are essential to the operations of large organizations.
