Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC, MQ Series
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives)
- Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions
- Provide production support and monitor Mainframe applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Manage backlog, prioritize tasks, and support iterative development
- Troubleshoot performance issues using tools like Fault Analyzer & Performance Analyzer
- Handle job scheduling and batch processing using CA7
- 6 years of experience in Mainframe development
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- COBOL
- DB2
- JCL
- IMS DB/DC
- MQ Series
- Experience with tools:
- SELCOPY, SORT
- BMC DB2 Tools
- REXX
- File Manager
- Endeavor
- CA7
- Debug tools
- 3 years of experience in Agile (Scrum) environment
- Experience in Manufacturing domain
- Strong understanding of SDLC
- Experience working in production support / monitoring environments
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies
- Experience working with cross-regional teams
- Exposure to integration projects and risk management
- Knowledge of product lifecycle and backlog management
