Job Title: Machinist

Location: Onsite Houston, TX

Experience: 5 8 Years

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Operate turning and milling machines to manufacture precision components
• Work with Mazak Mazatrol and Hurco WinMax controls (experience preferred)
• Operate manual machines (lathe, mill, etc.) as required
• Perform machine setup, including tooling, fixturing, offsets, and program verification with minimal supervision
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints, including Dimensional tolerances and GD&T symbols and callouts
• Conduct in process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Ensure components meet quality, accuracy, and specification requirements
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 8 years of experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing or job shop environment
• Proven experience operating turning and milling machines
• Strong knowledge of machine setup and machining processes
• Ability to operate manual machines when required
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and workmanship
