As an LMS Administrator and Architect, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and managing the infrastructure for Totara and Moodle platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all upgrades and enhancements to these systems, with a focus on transitioning the runtime environment from EC2 to a containerized platform, specifically ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift on AWS). You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive upgrade plan while ensuring the platforms remain stable, secure, and scalable. Additionally, you will manage the entire infrastructure supporting these platforms, leveraging an established infrastructure-as-code approach to maintain consistency and efficiency. Your role will also involve refining and expanding automation capabilities to streamline the management of the LMS platforms.
To excel in this role, you should have experience working with AWS-hosted applications and a strong understanding of networking principles. Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as OpenShift, and infrastructure automation frameworks will be highly beneficial. You will need to demonstrate expertise in managing cloud-based environments and a proactive approach to implementing modern solutions. The ability to adapt and enhance automation tools to meet evolving platform needs will be critical.
