Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handling all aspects of business/commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Conducting depositions, drafting pleadings, and arguing motions.
- Collaborating with other members of the litigation team to develop case strategies.
- Leveraging your expertise in business development to attract new clients, retain existing ones, and expand the firm's reach.
- Mentoring and guiding junior attorneys and other staff members.
- Keeping abreast of changes in law and informing the team of any updates that could impact our clients.
- Representing the firm at industry events and conferences, positioning us as a leader in the field.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with portable book of business ($350k )
- Extensive experience with depositions and a strong track record of successful outcomes.
- Proven business development skills, with the ability to attract and retain clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- A strategic thinker, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
