Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate process improvement projects using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify), and RIE (Rapid Improvement Events) methodologies.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase stakeholder satisfaction.
- Conduct monthly mentoring sessions for Black Belt and Green Belt practitioners; verify knowledge transfer and review certification submissions for technical accuracy.
- Deliver professional development courses via in-person, virtual, and asynchronous modalities.
- Integrate Get Real Get Better (GRGB) methodologies with Lean Six Sigma principles across all improvement projects.
- Provide detailed reports documenting current workflows, identified inefficiencies, and recommended improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous process improvement within organizations at all echelons of Navy Medicine.
- Experience supporting DoD, Navy, or military health system process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience in Continuous Process Improvement / Lean Six Sigma within the healthcare industry.
- Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with continuous active practice since certification.
- Demonstrated experience in all elements of the ASQ Master Black Belt Body of Knowledge (BOK) or equivalent industry-recognized quality organization (e.g., NCQA).
- Proficiency in MS Teams, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access), Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.
