Key Responsibilities:
- Execute process improvement projects using DMAIC, DMADV, and RIE methodologies in alignment with the ASQ Black Belt Body of Knowledge.
- Conduct process mapping and analysis to identify key areas of inefficiency and recommend improvement actions.
- Develop optimized workflows and work with stakeholders to implement changes across Navy Medicine commands.
- Conduct monthly mentoring sessions for Green Belt practitioners and support knowledge transfer and certification reviews.
- Review certification submissions for technical accuracy and alignment.
- Deliver training courses on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies via in-person, virtual, and asynchronous formats.
- Produce detailed Process Analysis Reports documenting current workflows, identified inefficiencies, and recommended improvements.
- Support integration of Get Real Get Better (GRGB) methodologies into all improvement activities.
- Contribute to the development of the Continuous Improvement Framework outlining methods and tools for sustained process improvement.
- Experience in a DoD or military health system environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience in Continuous Process Improvement / Lean Six Sigma within the healthcare industry.
- Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with continuous active practice since certification.
- Demonstrated experience in all elements of the ASQ Black Belt Body of Knowledge (BOK) or equivalent industry-recognized quality organization (e.g., NCQA).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in successfully accomplishing performance improvement requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Teams, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access), Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.
