The IT FinSight Delivery team at DTCC, focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions for financial risk management. This role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle complex business problems.

Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle complex business problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical expert on one or more applications used by DTCC
- Work with the Business System Analyst to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements
- Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments
- Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues
- Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standards
- Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; advances appropriately
- Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
- Contribute expertise to the design of components or individual programs, and participate in the construction and functional testing
- Support development teams, testing, fixing, and production support
- Build applications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, advances appropriately
- Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 6 yrs of active development experience/ expertise in Front end applications demonstrated ability with Javscript , Typescript , Jquery , Angular , React ,
- Strong frontend framework experience - Angular / React
- Experience with CSS, HTML, Javascript , Bootstrap
- Strong skills with UI development , debugging
- Experience with CI/CD technologies like GIT, Jenkins, JoCoCo
- Familiarity with NodeJS is expected
- Experience with Cloud platforms and containers is desirable
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology
- Experience with Code coverage, Jasmine, Karma etc
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Exposure to full stack development technologies.
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Certifications in cloud, java, Kafka technologies or architecture.
