- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build scalable backend services using JDK 17 and modern development practices.
- Develop integrations involving MongoDB, Kafka, and Oracle databases.
- Create and maintain Splunk dashboards and queries for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Use APM and monitoring tools to identify performance issues and improve system reliability.
- Support BDD-driven development and quality-focused engineering processes.
- Participate in containerized application deployments using OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- 15 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience developing Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience building Spring-based web applications.
- Strong knowledge of JDK 17 or later versions.
- Experience with Splunk query development and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with APM tools and application performance analysis.
- Strong experience with MongoDB and Kafka-based integrations.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates must be available for an in-person customer interview in San Leandro.
