Kforce has a client that is seeking a L2 Data Center Tech in Council Bluffs, IA. This person will be on the Tiger Team (Travel Team). The focus will be on intermediate technical support with autonomy. This is a 3-6 month right to hire contract.

Responsibilities:
- Lead MAC operations and ensure compliance with cabling and racking standards
- Run copper and fiber cabling, including labeling and documenting connections
- Independently perform racking, stacking, and structured cabling for new deployments
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues, including fiber diagnostics
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
- Heavy travel - multiple weeks a month; Travel and accommodations while traveling will be covered
