Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced JIRA Cloud Administrator / Developer with strong expertise in the Atlassian ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and maintaining Atlassian tools, along with development capabilities to extend platform functionality. This role requires a blend of administration, development, and operational support skills.

Key Responsibilities

Atlassian Administration & Configuration

• Administer and manage JIRA Cloud and Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Configure workflows, schemes, permissions, and dashboards
• Implement role-based access control and application management
• Install, configure, and upgrade Atlassian tools and plugins
  
  

Customization & Development

• Develop and customize JIRA functionalities using plugins and scripting
• Build and maintain Atlassian plugins and extensions
• Integrate JIRA with external systems using APIs and webhooks
• Support cloud messaging APIs and push notification integrations
  
  

DevOps & Release Management Support

• Collaborate with development teams using tools like Git and Bitbucket
• Support code and release management processes
• Assist in deployment of applications (Java-based, standalone, or COTS products)
  
  

Data & Reporting

• Analyze development and operational bug reports
• Generate insights and reports to improve system performance and reliability
• Work with databases and perform queries using SQL
  
  

System Support & Maintenance

• Maintain and support applications in Unix/Linux environments
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability and performance
• Ensure compliance with best practices and governance standards
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA Cloud, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience in JIRA configuration, customization, and administration
• Expertise in Atlassian plugin development
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud messaging
• Experience with Git / Bitbucket and release management processes
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java-based application deployment
• Familiarity with COTS products and enterprise application environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile environments
