Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support a Client project team in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Angular, and AWS, along with experience working in scalable, enterprise-level environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
- Develop reusable components and frameworks
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development
- Advanced experience with Angular (6–9 years)
- Advanced experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based development
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- 6–9 years of overall Java development experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a Lead or senior-level role
- Experience in Investment and Retirement domain
- Exposure to enterprise-level application development
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be able to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA
- Must be eligible to work on W2 (No C2C/1099)
