- Agency Name: New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH).
- Physical Work Location: 75 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208.
- Engagement Length: 30 Months.
- Target Start Date: June 15, 2026.
- Telecommuting: 50% in a 2-week period (5 days per 10 days).
- Daily Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Candidates must meet the Mid-Level criteria (36–60 months of experience) and possess the following qualifications:
- BI Reporting: 36 months of experience developing dynamic reports using a business intelligence reporting solution.
- Data Sources: 24 months of experience producing production management reports from both flat-file AND relational data sources.
- Microsoft Power Platform: 18 months of experience in the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Power BI: 12 months of experience developing detailed management reports specifically in Power BI.
- Power Automate: 12 months of experience in Microsoft Power Automate.
- Python: 12 months of experience managing data and/or reporting using Python.
- Low Code Development: 6 months of experience in Power Apps or other low-code development tools.
- Education: Master’s Degree.
- Data Analysis: Organize and analyze internal and external business data to develop business unit-level reports.
- Report Development: Utilize approved tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI to perform data analysis, inquiries, and report writing.
- Operational Support: Create reports used to increase data sharing across business units and identify potential operational issues.
- Technical Environment: Work within a technical environment utilizing Microsoft Windows, SQL, Python, PowerShell, and Unix.
- Knowledge Transfer: Participate in a mandated, written knowledge transfer plan to share expertise with State employees.
- Compliance: Attend mandatory workplace training including Security Awareness, Preventing Sexual Harassment, and Workplace Violence prevention.
